Correctly setting your tax, banking, and super information is crucial to ensure you receive accurate pay and it goes to the right account.
During the onboarding process, you will be prompted to enter your tax, banking, and superannuation information. It's crucial to ensure that you provide accurate information since any errors may result in higher taxation rates or your payment being deposited into the wrong account.
Updating your tax, banking and super details
To update your details anytime, simply open the app and click on the "Account" tab in the main menu located at the bottom of the screen. Then, scroll down to the "Billing" section and select the "Tax, Banking and Super" option.
For security purposes, you will be prompted to re-login before accessing sensitive information. This ensures that only YOU can access and change these details.
On this screen, you can change:
- Whether you are an Australian resident for tax purposes.
- Whether you have any STSL debt (Study and training loans)
- Claiming tax-free thresholds
- Entering your tax file number
- Updating your bank account details
- Updating your super fund details
