How do I report an incident?

As educators, it is your responsibility to promptly report any incidents that occur at the centres you work at.

If you are working across multiple centres, it is possible that you may witness children falling over and injuring themselves.

First, you'll need to make sure that the child is safe, and provide any necessary first aid to any injuries the child may have sustained. If possible, ask the centre for guidance before you do so. 

Always inform a staff member at the centre as soon as possible, and once the situation has resolved itself, you will be asked to complete an incident report for the child. This report is necessary to keep track of any incidents that occur at the centre.
