Sometimes an educator may face issues during check-in. You can assist them by checking them in through your app.
To ensure that we have precise and up-to-date records of our educators' attendance and timesheet information, we have implemented a set of rules and technology that enables us to keep track of the educators' check-ins. With this system, we can guarantee that the educators are present at the centre and that we have accurate records of their work hours.
Educators can only check in and check out when:
- They are connected to the internet or cellular data
- Location access is turned on for the Z app through your phone settings
- They are actually at the centre
Checking and educator in or out
To navigate to the educator's shift, simply tap on the "Shifts" tab and then access the "Filled" section.
Here, you will find a list of your filled shifts. Next, tap on the shift that the educator is allocated on.
This will display the educator's check-in/out status. If the educator hasn't checked in or out, you can tap the big blue "Check In" or "Check Out" button to complete this for them.
