What qualifications do you need to work with Z Recruitment?

Childcare Qualification

Applicants must either hold or actively be working toward a Childcare Qualification, such as Certificate 3, Diploma, ECT, or an equivalent qualification.

Experience

Applicants must have at least 25 hours of experience or completed work placements in an Australian early childhood service-based centre.

Sector Knowledge

Applicants should possess good sector knowledge, including an understanding of ratios and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Working with Children Check

A Working with Children Check is essential to ensure the safety and well-being of the children we serve.

Age

Applicants must be over 18 years old.

Right to Work in Australia

All applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia.

First Aid Certificate

Possession of a valid First Aid Certificate is required.

Be located in NSW, SA, VIC, ACT or QLD

Counting Placement Hours

At Z Staffing, we offer a unique opportunity for students to count their hours towards their placement requirements. It's important to note that while working with us, your primary role is to perform valuable work in childcare centres. We don't expect childcare centres to engage in the assessment or individual sign-off of work or workbooks.

However, we understand that documentation is crucial. Upon your request, we're more than happy to provide you with a detailed transcript on our letterhead. This transcript will highlight the childcare centres where you've gained practical experience and the hours you've accumulated.

While we strive to meet the compliance standards of various RTOs, we recognise that each institution may have specific requirements. If you want to count your hours worked with Z Staffing towards your placement hours please speak to your RTO to ensure that we meet their requirements.
